GimPhoto is a professional photo retouching and image editing application package. The program was developed as a free alternative to Photoshop program and also it can be used with the earlier versions of Photoshop 5.5-6.0. GimPhoto is based on Gimp (GNU Image Manipulation Program). It has an improved interface and a new menu layout. Also it has native GIMP naming conventions and Photoshop-like menu structure, allowing the user to use tutorials. The program comes with a lot of useful plug-ins (CMYK Separation, Save for Web, Batch Process and Layer Style), scripts, modules and extra resources. GimPhoto provides you with a wide range of editing tools. You can copy, cut and paste, rotate, flip, resize and control color balance of your images. You can use Greyscale, RGB and Indexed modes, as well as a lot of filters and effects (artistic, blur, distorts, enhance, noise, light and shadow, sharpen, remove red eyes, animation, and many others). You can work with multiple layers, use a batch processing function. The “Dialogs” menu option gives you the possibility for quick access to various editing options. The results can be saved or printed. You can also save the results as a template or for the web. |
